Terms of Use

By using AidGrid, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

AidGrid is a humanitarian field coordination platform that helps organizations triage, prioritize, and route help requests during crisis response. It includes: public intake form, AI-assisted triage, case queue management, resource directory, team coordination, and coordination reporting.

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
• AidGrid is intended for humanitarian field responders, mutual aid groups, shelters, clinics, municipal emergency coordinators, and similar organizations and individuals coordinating crisis response.
• Anyone may submit a help request through the public intake form — no account required.
• AidGrid is free for every responder. There is nothing to pay for and nothing to subscribe to.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of information submitted through your account.

• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Ensure only authorized team members have account access.
• Notify us of unauthorized access immediately.
• Admin accounts are responsible for the actions of team members they invite.

AidGrid exists for humanitarian coordination. Use it for that purpose only.

• Submit only accurate, genuine help requests on behalf of real people in need.
• Do not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent requests.
• Do not use AidGrid for commercial sales, marketing, or non-humanitarian solicitation.
• Do not attempt to access other organizations' cases or coordinator data.
• Do not interfere with the service's operation or attempt to overwhelm the intake queue.
• Do not use automated tools or scrapers to access the service without written permission.
• Do not submit requests that impersonate emergency services, government agencies, or other organizations.
• Do not use AidGrid to coordinate activities that violate humanitarian principles or applicable law.

AidGrid is provided free of charge to field coordinators, shelters, clinics, and mutual aid groups. We do our best to keep the service running during active responses, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. If the service is down during an active crisis, use your existing coordination methods and contact us.

• AidGrid is provided "as available."
• During active crises, we prioritize service stability over feature releases.
• Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
• Service is supported by donations and volunteer effort.

AidGrid is a coordination tool. It does not provide medical advice, legal advice, or official emergency response. For emergencies, always contact your local emergency services first (911 in the US, 112 in the EU, or your local equivalent).

• AidGrid does not diagnose medical conditions.
• AidGrid does not provide legal counsel.
• AidGrid does not dispatch emergency services, ambulances, or rescue teams.
• AidGrid is not a substitute for trained medical, legal, or emergency professionals.

AI triage outputs are suggestions, not confirmed facts. They help coordinators prioritize, but every decision requires human judgment. AidGrid is not responsible for outcomes based solely on AI outputs without human review.

• Triage scores, duplicate detections, resource suggestions, and concern flags are AI-generated suggestions.
• AI outputs are not medical, legal, or professional advice.
• All operational decisions require human review and approval.
• AidGrid is not a replacement for professional emergency services.

• The AidGrid name, logo, and design are our property.
• You retain ownership of the data you submit.
• We may use anonymized, aggregated operational data to improve the service.

• AidGrid is not liable for outcomes of coordination decisions made by human users.
• AidGrid is not a medical provider, legal service, or emergency dispatcher.
• Because AidGrid is provided free of charge, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• We are not liable for force majeure events affecting service availability.

You agree to indemnify AidGrid against claims arising from your use of the service, your submission of false information, or your violation of these terms.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• We may terminate accounts engaged in fraudulent activity.
• You may cancel your account at any time.
• Data is retained per our retention policy after termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes are resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. Changes apply 30 days after posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
